Another piece of traditional art. As stated in the previous upload, my scanner didn't work, so I had to take a picture with my phone. :[ One day, though. One day you'll get a better one.
So I did some drawerings, most of them being from my Veronica Quigley series. Speaking of which, I have decided to make Perro Valley the second book in the series and not the first; too many dog characters would have gotten in the way on the animal sanctuary.
I numbered the drawerings, too.
1. Veronica aging. There's her as a newborn baby, then there's her as a toddler, and finally her at age 16 (she was born in 1970, so she'd be 16 in 1986). Most of the time, I depict Veronica at age 9 (in her purple overalls).
2. Veronica's parentage. She gets most of her looks from her dad Richard, but has her mom Priscilla's green eyes. Richard and Priscilla are good and kind and love their daughter, but sadly they're killed in a car accident when Veronica is 7. So sad...
3. Two characters from SaddlePatch's Orbiter concept: Columbia and Endeavour. They're my favorites. ^-^ I hope to do more fan art of the Orbiters in the future.
I liked how Endeavour turned out, but I am neutral on Columbia.
4. These are Veronica's future children, Karen and Rick (short for Richard). Like their mom, they too have the "born ability" to communicate with animals, but unlike their mom, they're not very eager to have it, because it seems to alienate them from their peers. So they usually go around pretending that they don't have the born ability in order to fit in.
5. Sara Wabash with a horse. A bay horse.
And then I drew the shadow of a bird between #3 and #5. Also, ignore the squiggles at the top; I was making sure the markers and pens worked.
...I gotta go to bed now.
